Arrivederci, Lago Como
Sunrise in paradise!!! Our last day in Lake Como greeted us with amazing splendor!!
How grateful we are for God's graciousness and His goodness seen over and over this week in Como (and before that too! ha ha) We were especially thankful this morning because Steve tried a different path up the mountain which he lost and ended up way too high and had to work his way along little goat trails to get down plus get across a couple of little gorges . . .When he finally found the little path he was suppose to be on--, he was very, very grateful!!
Then we all (six of us) went to a cooking class in Menagigo . . . the instructor was nice but the food was nothing to write home about and the class was pricey . . . we made pasta plain and with spinach

We also did not eat until about 3:30 and were starving. Our pasta tasted luscious--although anything would have tasted good at that point. It was a hot day plus working in an un-air conditioned kitchen, we welcomed our air conditioned little room and watched the conclusion of this leg of the Tour de France (seems like only the last 5 minutes really matter anyways!)
Then our last excellent dinner with an amazing bottle of wine (or two)
and the moonrise over Bellagio (can you see the little white dot above the mountains in the first picture???)
Good night Bellagio (all lit up across the lake) and good night Cadenabbia and La Marianna ! Until next time...
